My theme is about dreamcatcher. I was first exposed to this thing when my friends were having one of hers dangling on the bag. I did some research on it and understands the use of a dreamcatcher.

A dreamcatcher is used to filter all the bad dreams and leave all the good ones. Since I have really bad dream from time to time, I decided to do this. I once encounter a dream with all my fears inside and woke up sweating. I also dreamt of the same incident over and over again. Everytime I thought of it, I could'nt sleep.

I did the assymetrical on with a holographic paper trying to get an effect of colorful and glowing dreamcatcher that represent hope.It also gives a feeling of a dreamcatcher during day time. On the other hand, I used a glittery soft purple color for the symmetrical cutout to create a settle feeling. I tried to keep the details simple so that the work will gives a peace and calm feeling. Besides that owl is the guardian of the night. Combining all the elements stated, the cutout represents a dreamcatcher during the night time.
